There are so many parts of a wedding day that move me. The obvious ones, like the exchange of vows and the father daughter dance. The toasts and the groom seeing his bride for the very first time. And the not so obvious ones, like mom’s tears as her daughter slips on her wedding gown. Or the maid of honors barely contained emotion during the ceremony. But on of my absolute favorites, the one that is guaranteed to make me cry tears of happiness, is the moment when the ceremony is over and a husband spends those first few precious moments with his new wife. Those quite, uncelebrated moments are my favorite.
